Martin County trusted A . R. Chesson Construction to complete the renovations of the MTC facilities. Martin County Transit (MCT) is a public transportation system that operates as a branch of the Martin County government, with funding assistance from the state and federal government. The system operates a fleet of vehicles, including specially modified vans and LTV vehicles to accommodate the elderly, and/or physically challenged.
The renovations included a roof replacement, HVAC replacement, and the development and paving of a parking lot adjacent to the building.
Additional work on the building included:
* Window & boxing replacement
* Installing new doors
* Reception window
* Repair/Replace Sheetrock
* Painting (interior)
* Restrooms (Public & Employee)
* Electrical upgrade
* Signage
* Landscaping
* Gravel
