Habitat for Humanity- House 2020

A. R. Chesson Construction teamed up with the Chowan-Perquimans Habitat Chapter to work on their most recent Habitat for Humanity house. ARCC staff enjoy using their time to give back to their community.
A . R. Chesson Construction is working with the city of Suffolk to construct a 7,214 square foot one-story fire apparatus and quartermaster facility. The apparatus bays located behind the existing fire station will house additional response vehicles for Suffolk’s Fire Department, quartermaster office, and storage rooms.
A . R. Chesson Construction has the pleasure of teaming up with MACU, to construct a 21,813 square foot two story building. The new facility, designed by Oakley-Collier Architects, will include classrooms, classroom labs, administrative areas, support, and storage spaces.

Project consist of an one-story addition to the current Lynnhaven Middle School to create the new “An Achievable Dream” facility. An Achievable Dream is a nonprofit organization with a unique structure and goal: partnering with public school districts to co-operate schools in primarily under-served communities, providing additional resources to level the playing field for students.
A. R. Chesson Construction has completed the Career & Technical Center - Innovation Campus for Martin County Schools. The project was funded by an NCDPI Capital Needs Grant to support education in Health Sciences, Business, Industrial Arts, & STEM.
Zach Beachem, Assistant Project Manager and Safety Professional at ARCC, attended the 2021 N.C. Department of Labor’s Safety Awards banquet on September 21, 2021. A. R. Chesson Construction Company earned their 16th consecutive Gold Safety Award, even during a pandemic.

Hertford County Public Schools joined forces with A . R. Chesson Construction to erect a two-story, 54,500 square foot Elementary School.

A.R. Chesson Construction is proud to partner with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). We are building a new office building to expand the laboratories and offices of the USACE-Field Research Facility. Located on the Atlantic Ocean near the town of Duck, North Carolina the Field Research Facility(FRF) is an internationally-recognized coastal observatory. Instruments at the facility constantly record the changing waves, winds, tides, and currents. Central to the facility is a 1840 foot long pier and specialized vehicles. The FRF was established in 1977 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is part of the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory

Safety Awards Banquet virtually on Thursday, October 8, 2020.
A. R. Chesson Construction is looking to break ground on this project in a couple of weeks, it will be a fast moving project and should be done by Jan. 1st. The building will be constructed on the former Sonic Drive-in site and the 3,000 square-foot building will feature two large classrooms and an office space.
